AutoCAD Drafting/Designer
AutoCAD Designer Responsibilities:
As part of the design team on large projects, you will provide designs, manage CAD files and check drawings to ensure adherence to project standards and clients requirements. This will potentially include working in CabinetVision software. Your ability to coordinate project elements efficiently and accurately provides the support necessary to the teams overall success.
Under general supervision, must perform skilled computer generated drafting work, operate computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) programs, while developing preliminary and final drawings, both new and revised, for CNC saws in the development of single family and multi-family living cabinets.
A minimum 3-7 years of design experience
Cabinet experience needed
Ability to work with CAD standards
Project coordination experience
Must have the ability to:
Produce accurate and professional drawings in a timely manner
Carry out assignments with attention given to project budgets and schedules
Work in a "hands-on" shop setting, interface with other team members for problem solving
Ability to define and execute project principles, procedures, methodologies and toolsets
Verifies that all materials processes and development samples are fully up to specs
Utilizes internal systems and communication tools to expedite development process
Monitor the progress of all product design and modification activities to insure project cost, schedule, and technical requirements are achieved
Support existing products when customer problems or part problems arise
